Allianz offers the following types of car insurance to Australian drivers:

CTP insurance is a mandatory requirement for all car owners in Australia, covering your liability in the case of an accident you cause that injures or kills other road users. Yes – Allianz’s Comprehensive Car Insurance policy offers the following optional extras:
You can lodge a claim at any time either online or by calling Allianz’s claim team. This should be done as soon as reasonably possible, and you may be required to provide additional information to support the claims process.
Yes – Allianz offers separate roadside assistance cover that can be purchased on top of or without a car insurance policy. Cover is available Australia-wide as either a Basic or Platinum plan, depending on your requirements.
Yes – if you use your vehicle for business purposes, for example as a courier or delivery driver, Allianz offers commercial motor insurance with three different levels of cover: comprehensive, third party fire and theft, and third party property damage.
No – if you are driving someone else’s car or a car not listed on your Allianz insurance policy, you will not be covered by Allianz car insurance. You should check the insurance documents for the car you are driving to check whether you are covered.
