Tips for buying your caravan
Of course, before you settle on which caravan is best for your needs, it’s important to consider a few things. According to Bill Tsouvalas, Managing Director of Savvy, knowing your budget is one of the most important factors.
“When it comes to buying your caravan, it’s crucial to know what your budget can get you”, he said.
“If you only have around $50,000 to work with for a new model, you’ll likely be limited to smaller caravans and camper trailers, while increasing that to $100,000 to $150,000 will open up your potential options massively.
“Also, if you don’t quite have enough money to buy the caravan you want up-front, taking out a secured loan may help you increase your budget and repay the cost over a longer period.”Bill Tsouvalas, Managing Director - Savvy
It’s essential to consider factors like whether you want a new or used caravan, how much your vehicle can tow (the weight of the caravan) and what model size you can comfortably store and travel around with.
