Bill Tsouvalas is the managing director and personal finance expert. Bill has over 15 years of experience working in the finance industry and founded Savvy in 2010 with a vision to provide affordable and accessible finance options to all Australians. He has built Savvy from a small asset finance brokerage into a financial comparison website which now attracts close to 2 million Aussies per year and was included in the BRW’s Fast 100 in 2015 as one of the fastest-growing companies in the country. Satwik Chavda is head of digital marketing at Savvy. He often shares his knowledge on digital marketing, personal finance topics in the media.
Adrian Edlington is PR & Communications Manager at Savvy. With a keen interest in personal finance, car loans, the mortgage industry, cost of living pressures, electric vehicles and renewable technology, Adrian's research includes both primary data surveys and analysis of up to the minute secondary Australian data sources. Adrian holds a B.A. & Diploma of Languages in Mandarin Chinese from the University of Adelaide and spent seven years living and working in Taipei, Taiwan. In his spare time, Adrian enjoys mountain biking and business podcasts.
Thomas Perrotta is the managing editor of Savvy. Throughout his time at the company, Thomas has specialised in personal finance, namely car, personal and small loans, although he has also written on topics ranging from mortgages to business loans, banking and more. Thomas graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Media, majoring in journalism, and has previously had his work published in The Advertiser. Thomas is a sports tragic and enjoys watching his beloved Adelaide Crows (even if he complains about them all year round).
Cate Cook is a Senior Finance Writer at Savvy. Raised in Adelaide, but educated in the UK, Cate started her career in journalism in 1984, then returned to South Australia in 1987 as a senior reporter for the Advertiser Group. She worked as a magazine editor for BHP, then wrote and published a weekly newspaper in East Arnhemland. Returning to SA in 1996, Cate started a career with the SA Government in media and communication roles. Once she started day trading on the Australian stock market in 2008, Cate found she loved the discipline and thrill of day trading. She was soon teaching others how to trade Contracts for Difference (CFDs), which she did for a decade before joining Savvy. Her publications include a coffee table book about tennis and a historical reference book of wooden fishing boats in South Australia. Cate has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Cardiff University, and a Diploma in Business Management.
